Multi-Media - Honeywell 6280 Series User Manual

The Multi-Media feature allows you to access voice messages, play video files, and display a slide show of personal
photos for viewing from your keypad. You can customize these features as described in this section.
Video Setup
To view video files on the touch-screen, do the following:
ICON
1. Insert your personal media (SD/SDHC)
card first.
2. Touch the Multi-Media icon then touch the
Video icon.
3. Highlight a video file from the list and
touch Play to start the selected video file.

NOTES
NOTE: The VLC Video Converter is required to convert videos for proper
playback on the 6280. Use an Internet search engine to locate and download
the VLC Player/Converter, then follow the steps in the "VLC Video Converter
Instructions" guide (provided in the carton).
NOTE: Maximum video resolution should not exceed 400 x 240.
• Use the slide bar to scroll through the video list.

If desired, touch the Full Screen icon to view video in full screen.
NOTE: If the video file causes the keypad to lock, press the reset button on
the bottom of the keypad.
Touch the appropriate icon to Play, Pause, view a Full View or Repeat the
video.
