Cause What to do
Close the gas cap until there is a clearly
audible click. Do not jam the strap
between the gas cap and the vehicle.
Add washer fluid as soon as possible,
refer to page 47.
Arrange a service appointment.
Check service requirements, refer to
page 60.
The engine cannot be started. Have the
remote control checked, if necessary.
Use the remote control for a longer jour-
ney or, in cars with convenient access,
replace the battery.
Have the system checked immediately.
You can continue your journey.
Steering characteristics are modified
and steering wheel could be off-center.
Steer carefully.
Have the system checked as soon as
possible.
