Replacing Trail Shield
WARNING:
shield is in place and working. Never operate mower
with damaged safety devices. Failure to do so can
result in personal injury.
The trail shield is subject to wear and damage which could
expose moving parts or allow objects to be thrown. For safety
protection, frequently check the trail shield and replace
immediately with original equipment manufacturer's (OEM) part
only, 731-05639A.
1. To remove trail shield, lift rear door and remove screws
holding trail shield in place.
2. Press shield in on either side to remove from hole. See Fig.
6-2.
3. Remove shield from opposite hole and replace with new
shield in the opposite order and manner of removal.

Battery Care
IMPORTANT: Replace with only the identical batteries provided
with this mower (Part number 925-04381A). The batteries should
only be replaced by an authorized service dealer.
WARNING:
Due to a potential shock hazard, DO
NOT attempt to remove the motor/battery shroud.
There are no user serviceable parts inside. Contact
your nearest Authorized Service Center if repairs are
needed.
