Replacing an expansion card

If you have to replace the expansion card, use the procedure in this section to
install the replacement expansion card.
The expansion card is a Tier 1 customer replaceable unit (CRU). Replacement of
Tier 1 CRUs is your responsibility. If IBM installs a Tier 1 CRU at your request, you
will be charged for the installation.
The CRU part number of the expansion card is 44W4488.
For more information about the terms of the warranty and getting service and
assistance, see Appendix B, "Warranty," on page 17.
If you are instructed to return a component, follow all packaging instructions, and
use any packaging materials for shipping that are supplied to you.
To remove the expansion card, complete the following steps:
1. Read the safety information that begins on page v.
