Each port has two MAC addresses: the first address is the Ethernet address, and the second MAC address is for the iSCSI function. Port 1 of the first communication module is assigned the base MAC address.

    The expansion card is a Tier 1 customer replaceable unit (CRU). Replacement of Tier 1 CRUs is your responsibility. If IBM installs a Tier 1 CRU at your request, you will be charged for the installation.

    IBM. An IBM part that replaces a removed part will assume the warranty service status of the removed part. An IBM part that is added to a Machine without replacing a previously-installed part is subject to warranty effective on its Date of Installation.
