WARNING
Disconnect power before attempting any maintenance or cleaning to reduce the risk of fire,
electric shock or damage to persons.
GLASS CLEANING
The glass is cleaned in the factory during the assembly operation. During shipment,
installation, handling, etc., the glass may collect dust particles; these can be removed by
dusting lightly with a clean dry cloth.
The firebox glass can be cleaned to remove fingerprints or other marks, by using a damp
cloth. To prevent scratching, do not use abrasive cleaners or spray liquids on the glass
surface.
SEASONAL CLEANING
To clean the glass or remove debris from inside unit.
WARNING
Gloves are required as edges may be sharp
1. Unplug fireplace.
1. Remove top from mantel.
2. Lift firebox out of mantel.
3. Lay firebox on it's back.
4. Remove screws from the left and right side of the front glass lower support. (Figure 7)
5. Carefully insert the tip of a slot screwdriver between the glass edge and either the left
or right side trim.
6. Using the screwdriver as a lever gently apply pressure in a downward motion, forcing
the edge of the glass up.
