    1. Carefully unpack mantel components from boxes and place to one side. 2. Make sure all packing material has been removed from within the top and around the mantel component. NOTE Do not dispose of packing material until fireplace is completely installed.

To locate the model and serial number labels see below (Figure 3). Record the Model number and Serial number on the front cover of this manual for future reference.

    Select a suitable, level location away from standing water. For ease of electrical hook up you may wish to locate the fireplace near an existing outlet. A 15amp, 120 volt outdoor GFI is required. Additional appliances on the same circuit may exceed the current rating of the circuit breaker.
