REMOVING THE OVEN TEMPERATURE SENSORS
WARNING
ELECTRICAL SHOCK HAZARD
Disconnect power before servicing the range.
Replace all panels before operating range.
Failure to do so can result in death or electri-
cal shock.
CAUTION: When you work on the electric
range, be careful when handling the sheet
metal parts. Sharp edges may be present, and
you can cut yourself if you are not careful.
1. Turn off the electrical supply going to the
range.
2. Open the oven door and remove the racks
from the oven.
3. Pull the range away from the wall so that
you can access the rear panel.
4. Remove the eight screws from the rear
panel and remove the panel (see step 4 on
page 3-2).

5. To remove an oven temperature sen-
sor, disconnect the connector from the
main harness and remove the two mount-
ing screws.

6. To remove the thermal fuse, disconnect
the wires from the terminals and remove
the mounting screw.
