Numbers, Symbols, Emoticons and Preset Messages

See "To change the character input mode:" on page 21 to enter the following types
of input.
To enter symbols:

Select the Symbol mode. To enter a symbol, press the corresponding
number key indicated on the display. Use the navigation keys to scroll up
or down to see additional symbols.
To enter numbers:
•
Select the Number mode and press the appropriate key.
To enter preset messages:
Select the Preset Msg mode.

To enter "emoticons" (smileys):

Select the Emoticons mode. To enter an emoticon, press the corresponding
number key indicated on the display. Use the navigation keys to scroll up or
down to see additional emoticons. Emoticons are also referred to as
"smileys", which are icons that express an emotion through a facial
expression.
