  • Page 8 Speaker Key: This key allows you to place or receive calls in speakerphone mode. TALK Key: Allows you to place or receive a call. In idle mode, press the key once to access the recent call log. QWERTY Keypad: Use these keys to enter numbers, letters, and characters.

    END/Power Key: Ends a call. If you press and hold the END key, the power goes On or Off. When you receive an incoming call, press to ignore the call and send the call to voicemail.

    – the phone’s idle state. At this point, you are ready to begin making and receiving calls. If your phone is unable to find a signal after 15 minutes of searching, a Power Save feature is automatically activated. When a signal is found, your phone automatically returns to standby mode.

    Your phone is equipped with a Lithium Ion (LiIon) battery. It allows you to recharge your battery before it is fully drained. When the battery runs low, the battery icon will blink to remind you to recharge the battery. When the battery capacity is close to completely drained, the phone sounds an audible alert and then powers down.
  • Page 14 To install the LiIon battery: Press the top of the battery cover and slide the battery cover in the direction of the arrow (1) to release it. Lift the cover up by the bottom corners to remove it (2). Insert the bottom end of the battery into the phone housing by using the direction of the arrow printed on the battery (3).

    Note: You must unplug the adapter before removing the battery from the phone during charging to avoid damage. Using the Travel Adapter Locate the interface connector on the side of the phone and pull out and turn the plastic cover. Plug the terminal end of the adapter into the phone’s interface connector.

    Note: Compatibility with all high capacity microSD guaranteed. Installing the microSD Your phone has a memory card slot on the upper right side. You can install a microSD card to provide additional memory for storing files (such as sound files and photos) in your phone.

    Phone Basics Your handset supports a flexible user interface that allows you to modify the user interface via downloadable themes. The availability of a custom user interface is subject to your carrier. The following description of the basic capabilities of the phone is a general description and not specific to a particular user interface.

    JOIN to begin your three-way call. If one of the people you called hangs up during your call, you and the remaining caller stay connected. If you initiated the call and are the first to hang up, all three callers are disconnected.

    The Missed Alerts menu serves as a centralized location so you don’t have to go through different menus to check for missed calls, unheard voice mail or unread messages, etc. This menu is only a reminder. The actual information is still saved in the various locations even when the missed alert has been viewed.

    Camera You can activate the camera and take pictures when the phone is open. In addition to taking pictures, you can also record, view, and send videos to your friends and family with your phone’s built-in video camera. To take a picture: Activate the main menu, highlight the Camera menu, and press Select Camera.
