COMFORTABLE USE

Clean the air filter periodically.
When cooling or heating season
is over, clean the air filter.
If air filter is clogged:
G The cooling effect is reduced, which
results in excessive use of electricity.
G It may cause malfunctioning.
G Water may drip when in cooling
mode operation.
Avoid direct sunlight and draughts.
Adjust the air flow direction properly.

Cleaning the Air Filter
Clean the air filter periodically at the end of cooling and heating seasons.

1. Take hold of the notches

1. Push up the side of the suction panel attached to
pin A.
2. Detach the panel from pin A.

4. Push in the knobs on the air filter, and remove the
cover from the air conditioner. Then remove the air
filter.

1. Push up the center portion 1 of the suction panel.
2. Pulling towards you, swing down the panel.

3. Remove the corrugated filter from the hook by
turning the hook.
4. Slide the flat filter towards center and remove it.

Note (1) Only one corrugated filter is used for FDR22-
71 models.
FDK Series
Clean the air filter periodically. Adjust the swing flap to
the outright downward position.
(Otherwise, the filter cannot be removed. The flap can
be adjusted also manually.)
Insert fingers in the slot at the bottom of air filter and
pull the filter down to remove.
Hold this sections.
Note)
Swing louver is turned by about 70-75
degrees to bring it to the extremely down-
ward position.
FDTS Series
1. Slide the lever of the suction grille in the arrow (a)
direction to open the grille.
2. Move the air filter back and release the hook on the
front panel. Then, slide the filter toward you to
remove it.

1. Slide the lever of the suction grille in the arrow (a)
direction to open the grille.
2. Retaining the suction grille and pulling the air filter
toward you, pull out the air filter downward.

Take out the air filter from the bottom of the unit.

Take out the air filter from the bottom of the unit.
