Trouble shooting

Mechanics
Symptom
The blade does not rotate.
The blade rotates too slowly.
The blade jumps out of its
position.
The blade warps.
Segments break.
The blade cuts too slowly.
The blade slips.
TECHNICAL DATA
Probable cause
1 Roller knobs not tightened fully.
2 The blade not fitted on guide rollers correctly.
3 Rollers tensioned too much.
1 Roller knobs not tightened fully.
2 Worn drive wheel.
3 The V-shaped inner diameter of the blade is worn.
4 The springs on the guide rollers are weakened.
5 Defective roller bearings.
1 Roller setting too loose.
2 Worn guide rollers.
3 The blade not fitted on guide rollers correctly.
4 Damaged blade.
1 Rollers tensioned too much.
2 Blade overheating.
1 Bent, twisted or badly maintained blade.
Continue to use the blade only if one segment is missing or leave for reconstruction when the
2
blade is worn max 50 %.
1 Wrong blade for the material in question.
The guide rollers does not move in and out freely. A seized roller can not press the blade hard
1
enough against the drive wheel.
Worn drive wheel. Abrasive material and too little water when cutting increases the wear on
2
the wheel.
Worn guide roller flange. When more than half of the width of the flange is worn the blade
3
slips.
The blade's groove and inner edge are worn. Caused by inferior flushing of abrasive material
4
and/or a worn drive wheel causing the blade to slip.
