Engine Will Not Start

The Engine Cranks But Has No Spark
If the engine cranks but has no spark, it could be the micro
switch (A, Figure 43).

Test the continuity of the microswitch as follows:
1. Remove the control panel.
2. Disconnect the 10-pin connector (Figure 44) that is
connected to the ignition module (module with three LED
lights).

3. Turn the microswitch on and test between the terminal
(A, Figure 45) and ground.

• When the switch is in the ON position, no continuity
should be measured.
• When the switch is in the OFF position, continuity
should be measured.
4. If there is no continuity at the 10-pin connector, test
at the switch. If the microswitch is pressed down
(Figure 46) there should be continuity. If not, replace the
switch.
