Accessing the Switch

After initial configuration, you can access the switch in the following ways:

Console

Serial console access—You can use a serial port connection to access the CLI.
Out-of-band (10/100BASE-T Ethernet) access—You can use Telnet or SSH to access a Cisco MDS
9020 Fabric Switch or use SNMP to connect to Cisco Fabric Manager.
To use Cisco Fabric Manager, refer to the Cisco MDS 9000 Family Fabric Manager
