  • Page 3: Before You Begin

    Sonos Wireless Dock Before You Begin • At least one ZonePlayer must be set up before adding the Wireless Dock to your Sonos Multi-Room Music System. For help with this step, refer to the instructions packaged with your ZonePlayer(s). • If a software update is available, be sure to update your Sonos Multi-Room Music System before adding the Wireless Dock.
  • Page 4 The indicator lights will flash green and white while the ZoneBridge is connecting. You may be prompted to update the wireless dock after you add it to your Sonos system. • If the indicator lights begin to flash green and red alternately, it means your Wireless Dock and one or more ZonePlayers are not on the same Sonos software version.

    You can walk in the door, place your device in the dock, and the music that’s playing on your iPod or iPhone automatically starts playing over Sonos. You will be prompted to select an Autoplay zone during setup. You can change the autoplay...
  • Page 6 You can switch to accessory mode at any time to make music selections and control playback using a Sonos Controller. • To switch to accessory mode, simply start browsing the music on your iPhone or iPod using any Sonos Controller — playback control automatically shifts to your Sonos system.
  • Page 7: Changing Dock Settings

    • To return to autoplay mode, simply undock and redock your device. Note: When your iPhone is seated in the dock in Autoplay mode, the ringtone for incoming calls will play through your Sonos system. If you do not want to hear ringtones or other system sounds associated with your device, simply set the iPhone ringer switch (located on the left side of your phone) to silent.
  • Page 8 Using a Sonos Controller for Mac or PC Using the Sonos Controller for Mac or PC, select Dock Settings from the Zones menu. Choose the wireless dock you want to make changes for, and select Settings.

    Selecting Music You can select music directly from your device when it is seated in the dock (autoplay mode), or you can use any Sonos Controller to make music selections and control playback (accessory mode). (c) The limitations in Section 7 will apply even if Sonos, its suppliers or dealers have been advised of the possibility of such damage or of any type of use intended by You. These limitations shall apply notwithstanding the failure of essential purpose of any limited remedy.
