3. Serial ATA 6.0 Gb/s connectors (7-pin SATA6G 1~2)
These connectors are for the Serial ATA 6.0 Gb/s signal cables for Serial ATA hard disk
drives and optical disc drives.

AM1M-A SATA 6.0Gb/s connectors
• These connectors are set to AHCI mode by default. If you intend to create a Serial ATA
RAID set using these connectors, set the type of the SATA connectors in the BIOS to
[RAID]. See section 2.6.2 SATA Configuration for details.
• You must install Windows
hard disk drives.
• When using hot-plug and NCQ, set the type of the SATA connectors in the BIOS to
[AHCI]. See section 2.6.2 SATA Configuration for details.

TPM connector (20-1 pin TPM)

This connector supports a Trusted Platform Module (TPM) system, which can securely
store keys, digital certificates, passwords, and data. A TPM system also helps enhance
network security, protects digital identities, and ensures platform integrity.
