DOMONIAL
Wireless security for remote monitored systems
With over a million installed sites, Domonial is one of the most
popular remotely monitored radio security systems in use in
Europe.
It includes a wireless visual and audio verification feature which
allows the Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC) operator to see and
hear what is happening if an alarm is activated. The operator can
distinguish immediately whether an intrusion has occurred or if it is
a false alarm.
The quality of its radio transmission (over 2km in open field), is
designed to give maximum protection against interference, and
the exceptional independent operation of its peripherals (4 years
on average) guarantee long-lasting reliability to give the user
complete peace of mind. This also means that the installer does
not have to make repeated site maintenance visits. Its extreme
ease of use avoids any operating errors.
For example, the TCC8M or TCB8M keyfobs give the user direct
access to the system's status (set / unset, thus avoiding the need
to return to the alarm panel to check the status before going out.
For installers, Domonial greatly increases the speed and quality
of their installations: All the peripherals in the range are linked by
radio, so no cables are needed to connect to the alarm panel,
resulting in major time-saving and no disturbance to the decor of
the installation site. The portable TCU4-800M keypad, which is
used to programme the Domonial control panel, is fitted with a
radio signal verification system. This means that each peripheral
can be located in such a way as to ensure perfect transmission,
which not only saves time but also ensures maximum system
reliability.
To reduce the risk of sabotage in the event of an attempted
intrusion, no keypad is fitted to the front of the Domonial alarm
panel. As a result, the panel can be installed in a discreet location
making it hard for any intruder to find.

The main panel is operated via a keyfob or a keypad that can be
installed at the entrance to the home or that is mobile so it can be
kept close at hand, wherever the user is in the home.
Domonial is designed to communicate. Over a public switched
telephone network (PSTN), it allows a connection to almost every
existing gateway. The GSM/GPRS module also fulfills this
requirement. Furthermore, it can also be used to equip sites with
no telephone line (e.g., a second home). The optional Ethernet
module allows the alarm and remote monitoring to be set on
partially or fully unbundled sites.
Domonial is also one of the components in a security chain that is
unique in its field. When connected to an ARC fitted with remote
Domonial reception and management systems, its installation is
remarkably quick and easy. Thanks to the equipment's remote
programming and remote automated test and maintenance
functions, management of each site can be optimized remotely,
resulting in major savings in the management and maintenance of
the installed stock.
Domonial's X10 connection means that it is easy to add home
automation functions (e.g. lighting or heating management) to the
site's security using widely-available off the shelf modules.
Optionally, an external antenna allows you to extend the radio
range of the Domonial alarm panel to cover, for example a garage,
small commercial premises or a poolside cabin.
The Domonial alarm panel is DD243:2004 - BS8243:2010,
EN50131-3:2009, EN50131-6:2008 and EN50131-5-3:2005/
