Indicator
The indicator on the back of the camera will light or blink under the
following conditions.
Green
: Ready to shoot (camera beeps twice*)/
when display off
Blinking Green : Image recording/reading/erasing/transferring (when
connected to a computer/printer)
Orange
: Ready to shoot (flash on)
Blinking Orange: Ready to shoot (camera shake warning)
* If the camera has difficulty focusing, it beeps once. However, it does not beep when
ready to shoot or when it has difficulty focusing in Easy mode.
Never do the following while the indicator on the back blinks
green. These actions may corrupt image data.
- Shake or jolt the camera
- Shut off the power, or open the memory card/battery cover
