Turning off on the desktop

To select the Start button, do one of the following:
• T ouch screen: Touch and hold the Start button ( ) at the
lower-left edge of the desktop.
• M ouse: Right-click the Start button ( ) at the lower-left
edge of the desktop.

Select Shut down or sign out → Shut down.

Unlocking the screen

To unlock the lock screen, do one of the following:
• T ouch screen: Swipe the lock screen from bottom to top.
• M ouse: Click the lock screen.
• K eyboard: Press any key.
• T ouchpad: Tap the touchpad.

If the account has a password, enter the password to log in after
unlocking the screen.
