SCAN ADD/DEL (TAG) KEY
➥ Push to add or delete the selected channel to/from the
scan group.
1. Push to ndcate the scan group, then push [CH Up] or [CH Down]
to select the desred group.
2. Push to add or delete the channel to/from the selected scan
group.
3. Push and hold for 1 sec. to ext the scan group selecton mode.
➥ Push ths key whle scan s paused (a sgnal s detected)
on a channel (except for prorty channel,) the channel s
cleared from the scan group.
Dependng on the settng, the cleared channel s added
to the scan group agan after the scan s cancelled.
PRIO A/B KEYS
➥ Push to select Prorty A or Prorty B channel.
➥ Push and hold [Pro A (Rewrte)] or [Pro B (Rewrte)] for
1 sec. to rewrte the operatng channel as the Prorty A or
Prorty B channel.
MR-CH 1/2/3/4 KEYS
Push to select the memory channel 1 to 4 drectly.
PANEL DESCRIPTION
MONI (AUDI) KEY
➥ Push to mute and release the CTCSS (DTCS) or 2-tone
squelch mute. Open any squelch/deactvate any mute
whle pushng and holdng ths key. (LMR operaton only)
➥ Actvates one of (or two of) the followng functons on
each channel ndependently: (PMR operaton only)
• Push and hold to un-mute the channel (audo s emtted; 'Aud-
ble' condton).
• Push to mute the channel (sets to 'Inaudble' only).
• Push to un-mute the channel (sets to 'Audble' only).
• Push after the communcaton s finshed to send a 'reset code'.
(5-tone/BIIS operaton only)
NOTE: The un-mute condton ('Audble' condton) may
automatcally return to the mute condton ('Inaudble'
condton) after a specfed perod dependng on pro-
grammng.
PUBLIC ADDRESS KEY
Push to actvate the Publc Address (PA) functon for voce
amplfcaton. When the PA functon s actvated, the audo
output can be controlled from the transcever separately wth
[CH Up]/[CH Down].
• Ths functon s avalable when the external unt, such as a audo
amplfier, speaker, etc. s addtonally connected.
• Push ths key, then speak nto the mcrophone whle pushng and
holdng [PTT].
