7. MAONTENANCE
Periodic maintenance and adjustment is necessary to keep the generator in
good operating condition. Perform the service and inspection scheduled in
the table on the next page.
Shut off the engine before performing any maintenance. if the engine
must be run, make sure the area is well ventilated. Exhaust gas con-tains
poisonous carbon monoxide.
Use only genuine HONDA parts or their equivalent for maintenance or
repair. Replacement parts which are not of equivalent quality may
damage the generator.
Tool kit
The tools supplied with the generator will help you to perform the
ownermaintenance procedures listed on the following page. Always keep
this tool kit with the generator.
