Vehicle Dock Settings

When your XMp3i™ Radio is placed in the Vehicle Dock, additional functionality is
provided through the Vehicle Settings menu option of your Radio . These settings
apply only when the XMp3i™ Radio is in the Vehicle Dock .
FM Settings
When you have connected the Satellite Radio audio using the PowerConnect™
or FMDA audio option, FM Settings allows you to preset FM channels for quick
selection if you need to change the FM channel (e .g ., you travel to another area
and need to find a different, unused channel) .
NOTE! This option is not displayed if there is a connection to the AUDIO
connector of the Vehicle Dock (like an Aux In Cable or Cassette Adapter) .
To set and select an FM channel preset
1 Press menu .

Turn the Control Wheel to highlight Settings and press Select .
3 Turn the Control Wheel to highlight Vehicle Settings and press Select .

FM Channels will be highlighted . Press Select .
5 Turn the Control Wheel to highlight the storage location (FM 1 to
FM 5) you want to set and press Select . You can choose among the
following options:
• If the chosen storage location is empty (denoted by "---"), or if the
storage location contains the FM preset currently being used (denoted
by "current"), then the FM channel tuning screen is displayed where
you can select an FM channel .
