1. Turn the engine switch key to the
OFF position.
2. Unlatch and remove the engine
cover.

3. Release the breather tube from the
four clamps.
4. Remove 6 × 25 mm flange bolt
and washer, and then remove the
alternator cover.
5. Secure the breather tube to the
clamp of the silencer case.
Take care not to lose the bolt and
washer.
