5. STARTING
THE ENGINE
CAUTION:
To prevent
damage
to the outboard
from overheating,
never
run the engine
with
the propeller
out of the water.
1. Open the fuel cap vent knob 2 to 3 turns.
FUEL CAP VENT KNOB

2. Turn the fuel valve lever ON.
