Other Points to Note
When connecting a hard disk that was previously used in the disk array configuration
to a general SCSI adapter, perform a low level format on the hard disk connected to
the SCSI adapter in advance.
While the server is turned on, do not remove any hard disks except for when
replacing a failed hard disk. (Only the hard disks in "Dead" state can be removed
while the server is on.)
When turning on the server shortly after turning off, leave for 10 seconds or more
before turning back on.
When creating a disk array using the onboard SCSI array controller for this server, do
not use hard disks of different capacity or speed.
Because hard disks previously used in another system may include unnecessary
partition information or array configuration information, unexpected problems may
occur in the data when reused. If connecting such hard disks to this server, perform a
low level format of the disks on the other system prior to connection.
