4.3 Replacing the system fans

CAUTION!
The system fans are non-redundant, you have to replace the defective
system fan immediately.

Ê Open the server as described in the
Ê Remove the system fan 1 cable from the adapter connector.
Ê Carefully push the system fan in direction of the arrows
and pull the lower rubber feet out of the inlet gate.
Ê Carefully remove the system fan by pulling upward
Ê Insert the new system fan. All rubber feet must engage into the inlet gate.
Make sure that the cable has been routed in the right way
page 24).
Ê Plug the system fan cable on the adapter connector.
