senen ReiPverschluR so unter den rech
ten gebügelten Schlitzrand heften, daB
die ReiBverschk.iBzähne noch sichtbar
sind. Vorbereitete Untertrittsleiste 0
anstecken und beim Aufsteppen mit
fassen. Die ReiBverschluBzdhne laufen
am rechten Fuhrungssteg entlang
(Abb. N). Kurz vor Nahtende Nadel im
Stoff stehen lassen, NähfuB anheben.
ReiBverschluB öftnen. NähfuB senken
und die Naht fertig nähen. Den ReiBver
schluB schlieBen.
Ubertretenden Schlitzrand nach Nahtver
lauf zustecken. Linke ReiBverschluBseite
einheften (Abb. 0).

lineal anbringen und auf die Abstepp
breite so ausrichten, daB das Fuhrungs
lineal an der Kante des Stoffes entlang
läuft (Abb. P1. Kurz vor Nahtende Nadel

ben, ReiBverschluB schlieBen, NähfuB,
senken und die Naht tertig nähen. Das
Ende der ReiRverschluBnaht durch einen
Riegel sichern.
Zippers in ladies' slacks

Engage the zipper toot on the right.
Press the edges of the placket. Baste
the closed zipper to the right edge of
the placket on the reverse fabric side so
that its teeth are still visible. Pin facing
strip 0 to the underside and stitch it
down at the same time as you sew the
zipper. The zipper teeth run along the
right-hand edge of the foot (Fig. NI.
Shortly before the end of the seam,
leave the needle down in the fabric, rai
se the zipper foot, open the zipper,
lower the zipper foot again and finish
sewing the seam. Close the zipper.
Pin the overlapping edge along the
intended seam line.

Open zipper. Attach the edge guide and
position it for the desired seam margin
so that it moves along the edge of the
fabric IFig. P1. Shortly before the end of
the seam, leave the needle down in the
fabric, raise the zipper foot and close
the zipper. Lower the zipper foot and
finish sewing the seam. Secure the end
of the zipper seam with a hartack.
