TROUBLE PROBABLE CAUSE
Unit does not turn on. Water spilled in humidistat.
Circuit breaker has been tripped.
Mist output minimal to none. Filter has not absorbed water.
Mineral buildup in tray.
Humidistat is set too low.
Filter needs to be replaced.
Water leaks from tank. Rubber tank ring is missing
or improperly placed.
Cap not tight enough.
Filter turns brown. The filter needs to be replaced.
Short filter life.
Film on water tank. Mineral deposits cause film on tank
to build up.
Water in tanks appears cloudy. Filter needs to be replaced.
Water tank filled with warm water.
Unit cycles on/off. Humidifier is reacting to room.
Very tight tank cap. Tank cap over tightened.
