Disc Tray hit at back
of machine

Hub is Unusable.

Image Too Small.
Cause
There is not enough space behind the
machine for the Disc Tray to feed. The
Disc Tray was automatically ejected
from the front of the machine.
The Disc Tray has remained inside the
machine, at the back.
The document was not inserted or fed
correctly, or the document scanned
from the ADF was too long.
The machine failed to detect the
original (disc or photo) when scanning.
The print head is too warm.
A Hub or USB Flash memory drive
with Hub has been connected to the
USB direct interface.
The proportions of your photo are
irregular so effects could not be
added.
The size of your photo is too small to
trim or enhance.
Troubleshooting
Action
Remove the Disc Tray from the Disc
Guide.

Make sure there is enough space
behind the machine.
Lift the scanner cover. Gently push the
Disc Tray toward the back of the
machine and remove the Disc Tray.

Do one of the following:
Remove any dirt from the scanner
glass.
Before scanning, choose what
type the document is (disc or
paper).
While scanning, close the scanner
cover.
Place only one sheet on the
scanner glass.
Make sure the document is placed
correctly on the scanner glass.
Allow the machine to cool down.
A Hub or USB Flash memory drive
with Hub are not supported. Unplug
the device from the USB direct
interface.
Choose a regularly proportioned
image.
Choose a larger image.
