W hen you select the "V/H SYNC+Blank" mode the vertical and horizontal scan
ning movement of screen stops when the computer enters power saving
mode."DPMS"mode is a new screen power management system,and it needs
to be supported by the monitor you're using.
vVideo Off In Suspend
This option is used to determine whether the video is turned off when the
system enters sleep mode.
vSuspend Type
This option is used to set sleep mode.
vMODEM Use IRQ
This option is used to set the IRQ in which the modem can use.The sytem will
automatically wake up when the modem receives an incoming call.
vSuspend Mode
This option is used to set the idle time before the system enters into sleep
status.
vHDD Power Down
This option is used to turn off hard disk power if the hard disk is idle for a given
period of time.
vSoft-Off by PWR-BTIN
This item is used to set the power down method.This function is only valid for
systems using an ATX power supply. W hen "Instant-Off"is selected, press the
power switch to immediately turn off power. W hen"Delay 4 Sec" is selected,
press and hold the power button for four seconds to turn off power.
vCPU THRM-Throttling
This option is used to specify the CPU speed (at percentage) to slow down
the CPU when it reaches the predetermined overheat temperature.
vPower Management Events
This item is used to set the system to wake up On LAN.
vPrimary/Secondary IDE 0/1
W hen these items are enabled,the system will restart the power saving
timeout counter when any activity is detected on any of the drives or devices on
the primary or secondary IDE channels. The setting vaules are Diabled and
Enabled.
