*DIRT SENSOR The *Dirt Sensor system uses optics to detect existing dirt. A red light illuminates when dirt is detected and turns off when your carpet is clean. IMPORTANT: TO ENSURE OPTIMUM DIRT DETECTION, MAKE SURE CLEANER IS ON PROP- ER HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT SETTING.
HEPA FILTER REMOVAL & REPLACEMENT For additional filtration, a HEPA media exhaust filter is located below the dirt cup. For best performance, replace filter yearly. TOOL REQUIRED: PHILLIPS SCREWDRIVER HEPA filter part # 3-860057-000, is located below the dirt container. NOTE: Unplug cleaner before changing filter.
