version and storing the system's serial number
An update image for USB sticks is available containing tools that perform two
different tasks at the same time:
– Writing the necessary "Headless" information to the system board (Pc_Ident)
– Writing the serial number to the system board (ChassisId_PromPc_Ident)
These two tasks always have to be performed after replacing the system board.
Proceed as follows:
Ê Download the USBImage tool from the support portal of the Fujitsu
Technology Solutions Extranet to a computer running Microsoft Windows
(download location does not apply to the Japanese market).
Ê Connect a USB stick to the computer.
Ê Start the downloaded USBImage tool.
