Using the Menu

Navigating to a Feature

Use these keys to move through the menu system:
Menu Key
Enter the menu
system, or open
a sub-menu, when
M appears in the
bottom center of
the display.
Left Soft Key
Perform the
function shown
in the lower left
corner of the
display (usually
or ).
Volume Keys
Scroll up or
down through
menus and lists.
End Key
Exit the menu
system without
making changes,
return to the
idle display.
Right Soft Key
Perform the
function shown
in the lower
right corner of
the display
(usually
the highlighted
menu item).
Scroll Key
Scroll up or
down through
menus and lists.
* #
and
Cycle through
and set the
value of the
highlighted
menu item.

Selecting a Feature Option

Some features require you to select an item from a list:
Press

to go back to
the previous
screen.
M
Press to
open the sub-menu.
S
• Press to scroll up or down to highlight the item
you want.
• In a numbered list, press a number key to highlight the
item.
• In an alphabetized list, press a key multiple times to
cycle through the letters on the key and highlight the
closest matching list item.
