Cotton and linen fabric which is in direct contact with the skin, e.g.
underwear, baby clothes, bed linen, towelling.
Note
The temperature is held constant for a longer period of time (longer
temperature holding time) to deactivate micro-organisms, e.g. bacteria
or house dustmites, and also to reduce the number of allergens in the
laundry.
To ensure that the micro-organisms are deactivated, do not interrupt
the programme.
Proofing
Normal
Use for
Drying microfibre fabric, skiwear, fine, closeweave cotton garments
(poplin) or tablecloths which are suitable for drying in a tumble dryer
and have been treated to provide a water and dirt resistant finish.
Notes
– This programme includes a proofing fixing phase.
– Only use proofing agents containing fluorochemical compounds
which are stated by the manufacturer as being "suitable for use on
membrane textiles".
– Do not dry items which have been treated with proofing agents
containing paraffin. Fire hazard.
