M e n u f u n c t i o n s
Note: The information or
services you have accessed
are stored in the cache of
your phone. A cache is a
buffer memory, which is
used to store data
temporarily. If you have
tried to access or have
accessed confidential
information requiring
passwords (for example,
your bank account), empty
the cache of your phone
after each use.

WAP settings

Keying in the service settings
manually
You get the appropriate settings
from your network operator or
service provider.
1. Press Menu, Services,
and
Active service
2. You need to activate the set
where you want to save the
service settings by scrolling to
the set you want and pressing
Activate
. A set is a collection of
settings which are needed for
making a connection to a WAP
service.

3. Select
Edit active service
settings.
4. Select each of the service
settings one by one and key in all
the required settings.
Settings name
new name for the settings set
and press OK.
Homepage
- Key in the
homepage address of the WAP
service that you want to use,
press
for a period, and
press OK.
Session mode
Permanent
Connection security
On
or Off.
When the connection security
is On, the phone tries to use a
secure connection to the WAP
service. If a secure connection
is not available, the
connection will not be made.
If you wish to connect
anyway, with a non-secure
connection, you must set the
connection security to Off.
Data bearer
data
or GPRS. For pricing,
connection speed and other
information, contact your
network operator or service
provider.
