Chat

You can have a conversation with
other people using this faster text
message service. Messages sent or
received during a chat session, are
not saved.
1. To start a chat, press Menu,
select
Messages
or search the phone book for the
phone number of the person with
whom you want to start the chat
session and press OK.
Another way to start a chat:
When you have received a
message, press
To start a chat, press
select Chat.
2. Key in your nickname for the chat
and press OK.
3. Write your chat message, see
"Writing text"
on page 12.
4. To send the message, press
Options
and select Send.
5. The reply message from the other
person is shown above your
original message. To reply to the
message, press
step 3.
To view the latest messages sent and
received during the current chat
session, press
Options
Chat
history. The messages that you
sent are indicated by "<" and your
nickname, and the messages that
you received by ">" and the sender's
and Chat. Key in
Show
to read it.

To organise your messages, you can

• Scroll to the folder you want to
delete, press

Delete
folder.

Voice messages

Voice mailbox is a network service
and you may need to subscribe to it
first. For more information and for
the voice mailbox number, contact
your service provider.
Press Menu, select
Voice
messages. Select
to return to
Archive
and
My
Add
and select
Messages
and
