nylon lIne replacement

1. Shut engine off. Lay unit on the ground with head assembly up.
2. Press tab (A) in housing and twist cover CCW (counter clockwise)
to align arrows (B) and remove cover and button. Lift spool from
housing. Assure spring stays in housing.
3. Use one piece of new nylon line 6m (20 ft.) long and thread
through the molded loop (C) on the spool. Pull line tight and adjust
so one end is 15cm (6 in.) longer than the other.
4. Hold spool with words "THIS SIDE UP" facing you. Place index
finger between the strands and wind line tightly and evenly in the
direction of arrow on spool (clockwise).
5. Place ends of line in the two notches (D) molded in the spool with
12.5 to 15.2 cm (5 to 6 in.) protruding.
6. Thread line end through housing eyelets (E). Install spool into
housing over spring (F) and be sure spool is installed so that the
words "THIS SIDE UP" are visible.
7. Place button and cover on spool and align arrows (B). Push down
on cover and twist cover clockwise until tab locks cover in place.
8. Before using, test head. Push center button while pulling on line.
Trimmer line should advance approximately 1 (one) inch.
