Washing blankets or bedspreads

Make sure the label of each
item to be washed shows
either the wash or hand-
wash symbol (
● 1 00% synthetic fibre blanket
– up to 3kg
● 1 00% cotton blanket – up to
1.5kg (single bed size)
● F uton (100% synthetic fibre)
– up to 1.5kg (single bed size)
● S heets
● B edspreads
● U ndersheets (100% synthetic
fibre)
● 1 00% wool
● L ong-piled blanket
● E lectric blanket (including
cover)
Caution
● D on't wash waterproof covers or
clothes, or items without the correct
symbols on the label.

Fold blanket or bedspread.
Fold into four, like so:
Put the blanket or bedspread

to the drum.
Fold it into six and add to the drum:
● P utting blankets or bedspreads
like this protects your laundry.
● A void using 'blanket nets'
– they prevent the laundry from
spinning properly.
● W ash only one blanket at a time.
Caution
● A void rolling the blanket or
bedspread into a ball or folding it
randomly.
This can cause excessive
vibration and damage your
laundry or the washing machine.
