Menu functions
The Archive box saves network messages
indefinitely.
• Receive: select to receive broadcast
messages, or not.
• Channel: indicate the channels from which
you wish to receive broadcast messages.
Please contact your service provider for
further details.
• Language: select the preferred languages
in which broadcast messages display.

Settings

Use this menu to set up various options for
using messaging services.
Short messages
(Menu 5.8.1)
You can configure default SMS settings.
• Service centre: store or change the
number of your SMS server.

• Validity period: set the length of time your
messages are stored in the SMS server.
• Message type: set the default message
type. The network can convert the messages
into the selected format.
• Reply path: allow recipients to reply to you
through your SMS server.
• Delivery report: set the network to inform
you when your messages have been
delivered.
• Set blacklist: specify phone numbers from
which you want to reject messages and
activate the message blocking feature.
Multimedia messages
You can configure default MMS settings.
• Send settings: set up the options for
sending MMS messages:
Priority: set the priority level of messages.
