Entering strokes and characters in
Stroke mode
1. Press the keys corresponding to a
character's component strokes. Press keys in
the order that you would write the strokes,
using one press per stroke.
If you are uncertain of the stroke order,
press [6] in place of each questionable
stroke. Continue entering strokes until the
character displays.
2. Press [Up] or [Down] to scroll through the
choices.
3. Press the corresponding key, [7] to [0], to
select a character and add it to your text.
Other Stroke mode operations
• Press [ ] to insert a space.
• Press [Left] or [Right] to move the cursor.
• Press [C] to delete characters one by one.
Press and hold [C] to clear the entire display.

Using English mode

Press the appropriate key until the character
you want appears on the display.
To enter the same letter twice or to enter a
different letter on the same key, wait for the
cursor to move to the right automatically or
press [Right]. Then, enter the next letter.
Other English mode operations
• Press [1] to enter special characters.
• Press [ ] to change case. Initial capital,
Capital lock, and Lower case are available.
• Press [ ] to insert a space.
• Press the Navigation keys to move the
cursor.
