Mio Assistant

You can use the Mio Assistant program on the desktop computer as a powerful tool to effectively
manage the messages and data stored in your Smartphone. Mio Assistant enhances the functions of
your Smartphone, and provides user-friendly interface to operate.
N O T E
Before installing and running Mio Assistant, make sure that your Smartphone is already
connected to the desktop computer using ActiveSync. (For information on installing ActiveSync
on your desktop computer, see section 1.6.)
Your desktop computer must have Windows Media Player 9.0 or later for Mio Assistant to work
properly.
Mio Assistant does not support Windows 98.
After installing Mio Assistant by selecting Install All or Custom Install, a shortcut for Mio
Assistant appears on the desktop of the desktop computer. Double-click on the shortcut to open Mio
Assistant.

Tool bar
The top of the Mio Assistant main screen is the function bar; there are six functions for you to use
(see the sections later on). The tool bar appears below the function bar; the tools displayed on the
left vary depending on the function you select, and the Update now button
