Using the answering system
remotely

Dial your phone number from a touch
tone phone.
L If the number of rings is set to "Auto",
(page 47), the number of rings you
hear will indicate whether or not you
have new messages.

After the greeting message starts, enter
your remote access code.
L The unit will announce the number of
new messages.
Note:
L You can hang up at any time.
L You can ignore the voice guidance and
control the unit using remote commands
(page 46).
