Using with Digital Video Equipment
(Recording)
If you connect this Movie Camera with other Digital Video
equipment (for example another Movie Camera of the
same type) equipped with DV InpuWOutput Terminal
(i.LlNK) using the DV Cable VW-CD1 E (optional), you
can dub high-quality picture and sound in the digital
format.

[ P l a y b a c k
Unit]
Insert the recorded cassette and press the [VCRI
CAMERA] Button so that the [VCR] Lamp lights.

[ R e c o r d i n g U n i t ]
Insert a cassette onto which you want to
perform dubbing and press the [VCRICAMERA]
Button s o that the [VCR] Lamp lights.

[ P l a y b a c k Unit]
Press the Playback Button [F] to start playback.

Unit]
While pressing the [REC] Bunon, press the
[PLAY] Button (both o n the Remote Controller).
Recording starts.
S t o p p i n g R e c o r d i n g
Press the Pause Button

or the Stop Button [M] to
stop recording.
*Regardless of the setting for [AUOIO REC] on the Menu
of the recording unit. dubbing is performed in the same
audio recording mode as that of the cassette in the
playback unit
*The lower part of the monitor picture of the recording
unit Ithe picture displayed on the LCD Monitor Finder
or TV) may be distorted or the picture may roll up and
aown However this is not a rnalfunction and does no!
