• The closer the measuring head 4 comes to the metal object / the power cable,
the shorter is the interval between the signal tones.
• When a constant signal tone is audible, the metal object / power cable is
now directly below the measuring head 2 of the detector.
6. Continue moving the detector along the wall until the red LED 1 again glows
weaker and the signal tones are sounded at longer intervals, this will help
determine the exact position and bearing of the metal object / the power cable.
Attention!
Before boring a hole in the wall, also check to ensure that there is not a cable carrying
alternate current located under the surface. Therefore, after detecting metals, ALWAYS
carry out an additional search for power cables!

Cleaning and storage

• Store the appliance at a dry and frost-free location.
• If you do not intend to use the appliance for an extended period, remove the
battery from the battery compartment.
• Clean the appliance with a soft, dry cloth.
• Do not use chemical or abrasive cleaning agents. These could damage the
housing.
