In addition to DVD-Video , this player can also play Super VCD, Video CD, and audio CD, MP3. Conventions Instructions in this manual describe the controls on the player. The icons below are used in this manual. - Page 10 About This Manual Region Code DVD disc today has region code (1 - 6) or had been previously manufactured region free. The region codes for DVD were designed to control the exportation of movies to other countries. Your DVD player has been programmed at the factory to accept the current region code setting of your location. The factory original setting can be determined by searching on shipping box or rear safety label located on the DVD player for the Region Code logo.

Getting Started Incompatible disks This player is incompatible with CD-ROM, Photo CD, CD-Extra, CDi , and DVD-ROM (data) disks. However, some DVD players are able to play DVD-R (DVD recordable) disks, for example, a player that uses a 2X speed DVD-ROM drive or a specific loader manufacturer. To set the Repeat Play, use the remote control or keypad on the front panel. - Page 32 Playing Disks in Various Modes Playing in Random Order (Shuffle Play) The player can operate shuffle titles, chapters or tracks and play them in a random order. To activate the Shuffle mode: Press n to stop playing. Press the Shuffle button and then press the button.
