Registering frequently used FAX numbers to the Phone Book realizes easy dialing
or avoids miss dialing.
One-touch Dial, Speed Dial or Group Dial can be used to register a FAX number.
NOTE:
Refer to Editing Phone Book with Computer (Using QLINK) on page 6-1 to
edit the Phone Book using computer. Destination list stored in the Phone Book can
be printed. Refer to Printing Phone Book List on page 3-11.
Registering One-touch Dial
To register a FAX number to a one-touch key (1-12):
NOTE:
A one-touch dial or group dial can be assigned to a one-touch key (1-6). To
change the one-touch key's registration status, follow the instructions below:

Access 51.1-Touch.
If you are unsure how to use this route map refer to Accessing Menu Items on
page xii.

Press a one-touch key to which a FAX number to be registered.
NOTE:
To select one-touch keys (7-12), press a one-touch key with [ Shift]
pressed.

Enter a destination name using the numeric keys and press [OK].
NOTE:
Max. 20 characters can be entered. To delete entered character, press
Character List
Refer to
numeric keys.

Enter a destination FAX number and press [OK]. The display returns to the
ready screen.
NOTE:
Max. 40 digits can be entered. To delete entered character, press
Numeric character (0-9), -(pause), *(asterisk), #, or F(Flash) can be used.
