Guidelines for Entering Numbers, Letters, and Symbols

Press [ ] to switch to uppercase letter mode (:A), lowercase letter mode
(:a), or number mode (:1).

Use the numeric buttons to enter a character. Press the button
repeatedly until the character you want appears.
To enter successive characters from the same numeric button:
– Press the numeric button, press [ ], then press the same numeric button again.
To enter a space:
– Press [ ] two times.
In number mode, press [ ] once.
To delete a character:
– Press [ ].
To delete an entire entry :
– Press and hold [ ].
Models with lowercase letter mode:
