Q Why when digital subtitles have been selected
are they not showing on the screen?

Subtitles are not currently being transmitted by the

Why is there no digital text service?
A The digital programme being viewed is not
broadcasting digital text. Try another digital
programme.
Q Why do I have black and grey bars in a
4:3picture?
This is normal operation. The grey bars on the left

and right of picture are generated by the TV set.
The black bars on the top and bottom of the
screen occur during a 16:9 broadcast.
