Audio Output
An external speaker can be connected to the Audio out connector provided by the multi-connector cable (not included), see
page 42.
If the sound from the speaker is too low or too high, adjust the output gain for the active speaker attached to the network
camera.
When satisfied with the settings, click Save, or click Reset to revert to previously saved settings.

Audio Clips

An audio clip is a sound file that can be played when an event occurs; it can be played manually from the Live View page.
Audio clips can be recorded by a connected microphone or uploaded to the device.
Add a new audio clip
To add an audio clip, go to Video & Audio > Audio Clips and click Add The dialog expands with three choices Record, Upload
and Location.
Record
To record a clip using the microphone:
1. Select the Record radio button.
2. Enter a descriptive Name.
3. If the recording should start after some seconds upon clicking the Record button, enter the number of seconds, and
the duration of the recording.
4. Click Record to start the recording.
Note:
If audio quality is not satisfactory, try adjusting the Input gain under Audio Settings.
Upload a sound file
To upload a file from a local hard drive or network disk, select the Upload radio button. Click the Browse button and navigate
to the desired file and click Upload.
To specify a file location, select the Location radio button and enter the Name and Location. Click Add clip.
