IMPORTANT:
In auto update, a fewer message is displayed because the update is
performed in the background. If [The check dialog of an automatic
update start is not displayed] is selected in auto update, if no file to
be updated exists, or when access to the FTP server fails, the
termination message is displayed for five seconds and auto update
terminates.
When updating files of MSI or EXE format, the Update feature
reboot the system during processing. If the program specified in
[Startup Setting] runs at the system reboot, quit the program. When
Update feature reboot the system, the program being run is quitted.
Update feature applies US40a-specific format for the update file of
MSI or EXE format. MSI or EXE file of general format cannot be
used in Update feature. To use them, logon to the system with
Administrator account, then apply them according to installation
procedures for each file.
If the STP is set in switching hub via wireless LAN, VPN, or wired
LAN connection, it may take long time to establish network
connection. In such the case, use manual update instead of auto
update.
Specify "list.txt" with lowercase letters. Linux servers assume that
file "List.txt" is different from "list.txt".
Create list.txt in the UNICODE format. To save the file in the
Windows memo pad, select "Unicode" in Encoding.
File names described in list.txt cannot include half-width space
character.
No multi-byte character can be used for file name in English
version.
